Temps and Contractors

A temporary role becomes available when one of our clients contacts us with a short-term position.  These roles are generated as a result of planned or unplanned absences within the organisation. 

Celtic Careers then source and recruit the most suitably qualified individual to fill the vacancy within the organisation on a temporary basis. The temp worker is usually a person who is flexible, capable and competent in the work area required.  

At this point the temporary worker becomes an important employee of Celtic Careers – however you work at the clients’ location.   Celtic Careers pays you an agreed rate for the contract undertaken.  We pride ourselves on ensuring that we pay on time every time.   We are your support structure, facilitating a flexible working arrangement.

The payroll department does everything in their power to have the money in your bank account every Wednesday (for the previous week, ending Friday). I have worked for a couple of other agencies and their payment dates are much later in the week.
